Account Types

At Peattie Capital Management, we offer flexible account structures designed to align with your specific investment objectives, risk tolerance, and financial goals. All accounts are managed on a separately managed account basis, giving you transparency, control, and customized portfolio construction.

Custom Accounts

Our flagship offering, Custom Accounts are individually tailored portfolios built around your unique circumstances. Through collaborative discussion about your goals, risk parameters, liquidity needs, tax situation, time horizon, and any other relevant considerations, we construct and manage a portfolio designed specifically for you.

Structure and Fees

  • Annual management fee: 1% on the first $1 million, declining on a sliding scale thereafter
  • Fee-based compensation only—no performance fees or profit sharing
  • Complete transparency in all costs

Custody and Trading

  • Accounts are held at Charles Schwab & Co., providing you with institutional-grade custody and reporting
  • You maintain direct control and ownership—no lockups, gates, or withdrawal restrictions
  • Alternative custody arrangements available with Limited Power of Attorney

Income Accounts

Designed for investors seeking enhanced current income in today's low-yield environment, Income Accounts focus on generating attractive distributions while maintaining capital appreciation potential.

Portfolio Construction

Income Accounts typically include a diversified mix of income-generating securities:

  • Master Limited Partnerships (MLPs) offering robust yields and tax advantages
  • Dividend-paying common stocks across various sectors
  • Preferred stocks with attractive fixed distributions
  • Select bonds and other income instruments when appropriate

Fee Structure

  • Annual management fee: 1% on the first $1 million, declining on a sliding scale thereafter
  • Same custody arrangements and client protections as Custom Accounts
